Business Services:Certificates: Certificates are issued for each application completed. Computer ApplicationsWindows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), Internet and E-mail, Publisher, Outlook, HTML, FrontPage, InDesign and QuickBooks.
Computer Office Careers This course is designed for entry-level training or upgrading skills. Core curriculum includes keyboarding, ten-key by touch, proofreading/spelling, computer operations, word processing, basic electronic spreadsheets and the Internet. Internships may be available. Software available: Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Microsoft Publisher, PageMaker 6, Quatro Pro 6, Corel Draw, Quicken 2001.
Core curriculum includes: General Ledger Accounting, Excel, Century 21 Accounting, QuickBooks, Ten-key by touch and an introduction to Microsoft Word. Additional software available: PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher. Advanced Accounting, Working Papers, Foreign Exchange Simulation.
Web Page DesignHTML/XHTML, CSS, XML, Intro to JavaScript, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop/ImageReady, Illustrator, FrontPage, PHP/MySQL, Coldfusion, ASP and various web utilities.
Careers
With Children (Child Development Associate Certification)
A one- or two-semester program provides classroom instruction and internship experience in preparation for the Child Development Associate Certification. This certification allows one to teach in Child Care Centers, Head Start, after-school programs or have a family child care business.
Hospitality: Professional BakingLearn the entry-level skills necessary to obtain employment in the baking industry. Instruction takes place in a student-operated restaurant and includes everything from breads and rolls to elaborate desserts.
Hands-on training in a student-operated restaurant and includes food preparation, service, catering, vocabulary and sanitation.

Assistant
Train for back office work. Includes medical terminology, anatomy
and physiology, basic laboratory procedures, basic back office skills.
Students participate in internships in local medical facilities. An
18-week course. This is not an open-entry, open exit class.

Nursing Assistant/Acute Care
Students will learn to perform basic nursing assistant skills and
duties in the acute care setting, including community health facilities
and acute care hospitals. Course includes patient assessment, observation,
nursing assistant skills and basic long-term care procedures, with
additional emphasis on specialized acute rehabilitation, orthopedics,
and assisting with physical examination.
